Java Spring Boot Developer

1 · Your tasks

• Use Spring Boot, Spring Data and Spring Security to create REST services that are secure
• Store and read data in Oracle and PostgreSQL, keeping queries fast and caching results
• Make sure test coverage meets the target, using JUnit and Mockito for small tests and integration tests for whole flows
• Support containerised deployment and release validation

Project: Building APIs that internal teams use to serve customers and their accounts.

3 · Work papers we accept

USC, GC, EAD, OPT, STEM OPT. H-1B transfer for qualified candidates.

USC:

U.S. citizen.

GC:

green card holder (a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.).

EAD:

short for Employment Authorization Document. This USCIS card lets you take a job in the U.S.

OPT:

Optional Practical Training. F-1 students use it to gain job experience in their field after school.

STEM OPT:

added OPT time for STEM grads (science, tech, engineering, math). Only E-Verify employers can offer it.

4 · Words to know

Contract:

the job runs for a planned period. Here that period is 12 months or more.

W2:

you are on the payroll, and tax is taken from each paycheck.

C2C:

short for corp-to-corp. Your own company sends the invoice and receives the payment.

Hybrid:

a mix of office days and home days. "2 days onsite/week" or "3 days onsite/week" is the number of office days each week.
